This exhibition is about the discursive ways that artists approach paper as a medium, technology, and tool. It features newly commissioned works by contemporary artists using paper made to their specifications in the Center for Book and Paper Arts Studios. A second section features works created by artists in-residence at Dieu Donné, a New York-based workspace dedicated to the preservation of contemporary art in the hand papermaking process.
This blog serves to document the collaborative and curatorial processes leading up to the exhibition.
